Jennifer, Jeremy, and Savanna went out on site to check the progress of construction of this studio project. This project is currently in Phase 5 and includes 8 stages, totaling in 190,000 SF, 100,000 SF of office space, and 100,000 SF of workshop space; it is a grand total of 390,000 SF. The stages are constructed using pre-engineered steel roof trusses on concrete tilt-up wall panels. The offices are steel framing with chevron bracing and pre-engineered roof joists. The warehouses are pre-engineered metal buildings with textured wall panels and a standing seam metal roof.

BlueStar Studios is currently in Phase I of construction. Located in historic Fort Gillem, a former military base, in the city of Forest Park, Georgia, Phase I of this studio project consists of repurposing existing structure and creating two 20,000 square foot stages. There will be at least two more phases to this project. The design team and project architect, Allen Collins, have taken care to preserve the architectural legacy of the historic buildings and repurpose them to create new life for this facility.
